These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Carzuri.co.ke website and platform (the “Platform”), operated by Carzuri Limited (“Carzuri,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. What Carzuri Is
Carzuri is an online marketplace that connects vehicle buyers with independent dealers across Kenya. Carzuri does not own, sell, or take title to any vehicle listed on the Platform. All vehicle listings are created and managed by independent dealers, who are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings and the condition of the vehicles they offer.
2. Accounts
To access certain features, you must register for a buyer or dealer account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Keep your login credentials confidential and secure
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
Dealer accounts are subject to review and approval before gaining full access to list vehicles on the Platform. Carzuri reserves the right to approve, reject, or suspend any dealer account at its discretion.
3. Vehicle Listings and Transactions
Carzuri facilitates connections between buyers and dealers but is not a party to any sale, purchase, or financing agreement between them. You acknowledge and agree that:
- Dealers are solely responsible for the accuracy of vehicle listings, including price, condition, mileage, and history
- Buyers are responsible for independently verifying a vehicle’s condition and history before purchase, including physical inspection where possible
- Any agreement to buy or sell a vehicle is strictly between the buyer and the dealer
- Carzuri is not responsible for disputes arising from a transaction between a buyer and a dealer
4. AI Valuation and Financing Tools
Vehicle valuations generated by our AI Smart Valuation tool are estimates only, based on the information provided and general market data. They do not constitute a guaranteed sale price, purchase offer, or professional appraisal. Similarly, figures shown in our Finance Calculator are estimates for planning purposes only and are not a guarantee of loan approval or final terms, which are determined by the relevant financing provider.
5. Reviews and Ratings
Only buyers who have submitted a genuine inquiry for a specific vehicle may leave a review for that vehicle. Reviews must reflect an honest account of your experience. Carzuri reserves the right to remove reviews that are fraudulent, abusive, or violate these Terms.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent vehicle listings or reviews
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform
- Harvest or misuse the personal information of other users
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Carzuri shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, your reliance on any listing, valuation, or financing estimate, or any transaction between a buyer and a dealer facilitated through the Platform.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
